How we work
This page explains where our facts come from, how we rate parks and how we make money.

Which parks we include
We include every holiday park in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium that has [criteria, e.g. at least 20 holiday homes and its own leisure facilities]. At the moment that is 29 parks.
Whether we earn anything from a park does not decide whether it appears here or where it ranks in lists. 29 of 29 parks have no partner programme.
How we rate
The score is our own editorial assessment, not a guest review. It is made up like this:
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Location and nature | 25% |
| Pool and facilities | 20% |
| For families | 20% |
| With a dog | 15% |
| Value for money | 20% |
Each sub-score runs from 0 to 10. The overall score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal place. Commissions do not feed into the score. We sort lists by this score and, in the event of a tie, by [criterion]. Topic pages use the same score.
We only show ratings from other portals with the source, number of reviews and date. We do not verify them.
What “checked on” means
On that day we compared the details with the website of the park or provider, or asked the park directly. The source is given with every detail. We only change the date when we have genuinely checked again.
So far we have not been to any of the parks ourselves. We therefore do not write about experiences but check facts. Should we visit a park, the page will say so with the date, and also whether we paid ourselves or were invited.
How we show prices
- Always the total price for a fixed stay, for example 4 nights for 4 people.
- Mandatory fees such as the service fee and final cleaning are included. Anything that costs extra, such as bed linen, tourist tax or the dog, is stated right next to it.
- Every price has a date (“as of”). If it is older than 30 days, we hide it.
- No countdowns, no “Only 2 left” notices. The price at the provider is the binding one.
Photos and AI
- We have no photos of our own from the parks. Images come from providers or photographers who allow us to use them. The source is given with every image.
- Where there is no photo yet, we show a drawn graphic labelled “Drawing, not a photo of the park”.
- We do not show AI images of real parks.
- First drafts of texts are partly produced with AI. Anna K. checks every detail against the source.
How we are funded
Links marked with * are affiliate links. If you book through them, we receive a commission from the provider. Your price does not change as a result. Ad boxes are labelled “Ad”.
This is what it says under every affiliate link: “*Affiliate link: if you book through this link, we receive a commission. The price you pay does not change.”
We use the partner programmes of [networks]. Providers cannot buy inclusion, placement or a score. Parks without a partner programme get a normal link to their website.
